Issue 1

The first two issues of Different Visions are now in progress. The first issue will feature a selection of essays initially presented in the five sessions devoted to Madeline Caviness’s method of triangulation at the 2006 meeting of the Medieval Congress at Western Michigan University at Kalamazoo. Corine Schleif, co-organizer of those sessions along with Alyce Jordan, will be the Guest Editor for the issue. Included will also be a transcription of noted medieval historian and theorist Kathleen Biddick’s interview with Prof. Caviness, which was performed by Prof. Schleif and Prof. Caviness as part of the Kalamazoo sessions. The issue will be posted by Fall 2007.

Issue 2

The second issue of Different Visions will include articles on a variety of subjects and feature diverse theoretical frameworks and approaches. It will be available on the website by Spring 2008. In addition to the essays, this issue will include a response section, offering our readers an opportunity to comment on the essays of the previous volume. Like the essays, responses should be submitted to submissions@differentvisions.org and are subject to editorial review. The response section will be a regular feature of Different Visions.
